Webtripper also has the ability to Look & Book with external suppliers: it's linked to Worldspan for flights, cars and accommodation, Airscan for viewdata availability, and accommodation hosts serving the Americas, Far East, Caribbean, Middle East, Africa and of course, Europe. Let us know the suppliers you already trade with and if we don't already have a connection to their systems, we can build one for you.

The booking procedure is a snap, because Webtripper handles the CRS for you. This results in a new quote or booking for your database, instantly available to your other staff and associates, whether in your office or around the world. With the right web links built in, your clients can even see their invoices and holiday information online from the moment they've booked!

Reporting is quick and easy thanks to our own report generator, and the experience gathered over nearly two decades of writing travel systems. The end result? A system which is quick, easy to use, productive and highly scalable: the servers and bandwidth can accommodate any number of staff and any number of transactions!

Reservation staff simply enter their requested dates, airports etc. The request is fed to the Worldspan data engines and live IATA availability streams back from their online servers. In addition, the same request is passed to our own Airscan servers for a stream of viewdata and holiday offerings from UK tour operators.

Your own database of nett fares and consolidated deals is also searched to fill the screen with availability, prices and detailed information about the products available. These results can be combined and organised by departure point, time, price, airline and so on. Worldspan's own Powershopper can also bring back highly informative comparisons for you, or you can view published fares, with your own deals on scheduled flights.

A request for accommodation is dealt with in the same way, as multiple online hosts stream back information and live availability, adding maps, photographs, floor plans and detailed booking information.

Airscan is Dataworld's database of polled viewdata flights and holiday information. It can be used to instantly see the state of the holiday market for any given destination and whether prices are rising, falling or remaining constant.

Some pricing data is scanned and some delivered to us directly from the tour operators; our procedures continually update some three million prices around the clock.

Airscan was the first commercially available polled viewdata service, now used by all the top UK operators and a significant proportion of agents. Probably every commercially viable agent or operator in the UK now makes use of one such system or another to keep up with a constantly shifting marketplace.

Our database can be downloaded into host systems or LANs, interrogated online, or even queried remotely from an agent's public-facing website. More than one and a half billion prices have already been provided by our online servers, proving Airscan's ongoing usefulness and its applicability to the web.
